If I were to describe my holiday break into one word it would be heart-warming. This Christmas was the first time I actually felt like I was celebrating it and it made me feel so loved. This is the first Christmas I gave and received gifts, pounds upon pounds of food, and actually hung out personally with everyone I loved. The same can be said for my New Years, I spent it with my best friend Alexander and his family. This year has truly started off in such a loving spirit. 

The first goal that i will achieve this year is getting into college. Getting into college will matter so much to the success of my future since it will allow me to achieve my dream of comfortability and stability. To accomplish this i have to maintain good grades in the remainder of my highschool months and be consistent with notices.Once i get accepted i will obtain a higher paying job to save up for future college expenses.This is important to the stress i won't have to endure when it come to paying off my first college year. I will obtain this by being persistent in the job applications and calls. In order to achieve a steady college start off my goal is to have $5,000 in my saving account by the start of August. This will allow me to cover any supplies or personal needs before i need to focus on my studies. This is achievable by starting to save up now and maintain a steady budget on things i buy. These are my main goals for this year. Hopefully those 12 grapes under the table wishes come into fruition.

 A song that brings me a specific memory would be "Everybody Talks" By Neon Trees. It brings back one of my happiest memory's as a kid. I remember that day me and my sister were playing in the living room and my mom walks in and says "Get ready we're going to the water park". When I tell you I was ecstatic I ran to my room and changed into my Minnie mouse swimsuit. This was the first time I had ever went to the water park so it felt extra special. I remember the car ride to the place, I was watching the window picturing a ninja man crossing on top of the cars and the song Everybody Talks blasting through the radio. The wind was gliding through my face while I was sticking my tongue out to see how dry it could get. Then I saw the pirate statue and knew we were close. I had the time of my life and every time I hear that song it brings me immense nostalgia and joy.

 Someone who has influenced my life in a positive way would be my best friend Alexander. Although we haven't been friends for long that being me becoming friends with him in 11th grade. He has impacted my life in so many different ways. Alexander is a confident person and he encourages me to get out of my own comfort zone and branch out. When I was a kid I wasn't shy I always knew how to talk to people and speak up. I've lost that ability as I grew older but meeting him has finally shown me how much I missed putting myself out there. He also values his relationships so much and his care for me has shown me it is okay to be emotional. He has shown me to be such an empathetic person and I find that to be such an important trait to a person. Overall, Alexander brings out the best in me and I will forever feel like 100 while being his friend.
