 A time someones words had a lasting impact on me would be when my art teacher told me I had a talent. As a kid I never had aspiration for anything I didn't know what I wanted to be because I thought life was a little mediocre. One day in second grade I was working on an art class project drawing a simple school portrait with a girl in the middle when I hear my art teacher walk behind me. She says "Oh my that looks really good you should enter this Google drawing contests you show great talent", she was probably being encouraging to a kid but she'll never know how much impact those words had on me. Her saying that about something I created made me feel so seen. I think that specific moment is when I started to find my passion for art and now I look forward to becoming a tattoo artist. The concept of being able to create something and someone wanting to put it on themselves permanently is such a beautiful heart-warming thing to me. On that note, today in class we presented our Fences project.

 A song that brings me a specific memory would be "Everybody Talks" By Neon Trees. It brings back one of my happiest memory's as a kid. I remember that day me and my sister were playing in the living room and my mom walks in and says "Get ready we're going to the water park". When I tell you I was ecstatic I ran to my room and changed into my Minnie mouse swimsuit. This was the first time I had ever went to the water park so it felt extra special. I remember the car ride to the place, I was watching the window picturing a ninja man crossing on top of the cars and the song Everybody Talks blasting through the radio. The wind was gliding through my face while I was sticking my tongue out to see how dry it could get. Then I saw the pirate statue and knew we were close. I had the time of my life and every time I hear that song it brings me immense nostalgia and joy.

 Someone who has influenced my life in a positive way would be my best friend Alexander. Although we haven't been friends for long that being me becoming friends with him in 11th grade. He has impacted my life in so many different ways. Alexander is a confident person and he encourages me to get out of my own comfort zone and branch out. When I was a kid I wasn't shy I always knew how to talk to people and speak up. I've lost that ability as I grew older but meeting him has finally shown me how much I missed putting myself out there. He also values his relationships so much and his care for me has shown me it is okay to be emotional. He has shown me to be such an empathetic person and I find that to be such an important trait to a person. Overall, Alexander brings out the best in me and I will forever feel like 100 while being his friend.
