Imagine you're in the delivery room excited to see meet your baby, and then it comes out and there's complete silence. That is what my mother had went through which she describes as one of the most scariest experiences of her life. I have asthma, it's not serious and I don't need anything for it, but this is all due to my birth complications. I was born through the vaginal canal unlike my C-section sister. My mother had told me that when i finally popped out the room was filled with absolute silence. Not a single cry, squeal, or whine was heard; My mother described it as the most painful silence she ever heard. I was struggling to breath due to me drinking liquid inside of the womb which was clogging my lungs and that's why I had been unresponsive. The nurses began to pat my back slightly hard to get me to breathe. Fortunately I was able to gain consciousness again. and was overall a healthy baby. The only side effect I have from that one short moment is having asthma and Im gad that's all it became.
