 What has always fascinated me as a kid was the concept of death. I've always wondered what it is that comes after it, why it's such a sure thing to happen, and does your beliefs change the outcome of your afterlife. Death terrifies me I can't accept not existing and I think it's selfish because everything has its time, but honestly the biggest question i'd like to be answered is "What comes after death?". Another question i wish could be answered "is there any higher power or being". I feel like this question constantly weighs on a lot of peoples mind especially very religious people. I personally am not a religious person, but the concept of God does weigh on my mind because I'm expected to believe in it. I'm the type to apply logic to things which is why grasping the fact that God exists is hard for me. That's why i'd like to ask the universe if an entity like that really does exist. Today in class we read the poem called "I, Too" by Langston Hughes and worked on a worksheet about it.

 A song that brings me a specific memory would be "Everybody Talks" By Neon Trees. It brings back one of my happiest memory's as a kid. I remember that day me and my sister were playing in the living room and my mom walks in and says "Get ready we're going to the water park". When I tell you I was ecstatic I ran to my room and changed into my Minnie mouse swimsuit. This was the first time I had ever went to the water park so it felt extra special. I remember the car ride to the place, I was watching the window picturing a ninja man crossing on top of the cars and the song Everybody Talks blasting through the radio. The wind was gliding through my face while I was sticking my tongue out to see how dry it could get. Then I saw the pirate statue and knew we were close. I had the time of my life and every time I hear that song it brings me immense nostalgia and joy.

 Someone who has influenced my life in a positive way would be my best friend Alexander. Although we haven't been friends for long that being me becoming friends with him in 11th grade. He has impacted my life in so many different ways. Alexander is a confident person and he encourages me to get out of my own comfort zone and branch out. When I was a kid I wasn't shy I always knew how to talk to people and speak up. I've lost that ability as I grew older but meeting him has finally shown me how much I missed putting myself out there. He also values his relationships so much and his care for me has shown me it is okay to be emotional. He has shown me to be such an empathetic person and I find that to be such an important trait to a person. Overall, Alexander brings out the best in me and I will forever feel like 100 while being his friend.
